Considerate Constructors Scheme
As part of our commitment to people, community and the planet, we register all McLaren construction sites with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This commits us to a Code of Considerate Practice, which is designed to encourage the best possible performance during all stages of work.
Going above and beyond the basic statutory requirements of the sector, this Code helps us to ensure that all of our sites are beneficial for the people working on and around them, the community in which they are situated, and the planet as a whole.
The site will be registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. We aim to reach high standards in being a considerate constructor and build trust with the public. Frequently Asked Questions
Enabling works by Deconstruct UK will take place from November 2024 to May 2025. Soft-strips works - Pre takeover by McLaren and has now been concluded. Demolition works due to be completed. Construction will take place between October 2025 and March 2026.
A number of precautions are being taken to minimise the impact on neighbouring properties. These include: Scaffolding will have protective screening 2meters above the demolition activities. Water mist dust suppression will apply to all demolition activities. Noisy works are carried out to agreed Westminster City Council working hours (2hrs on – 2hrs off). Noise and Dust monitoring is carried out at the site boundary.
